LEARN ABOUT OUR SERVICES / THERAPIES FOR:

Working Therapeutically with Children and Young People/Adolescents :

We all communicate how we’re feeling through our behaviour. A child /Young Person, who acts angry, anxious, depressed, self-harms, has eating disorders, addictions, is disruptive in school and at home etc is communicating distress, pain and fears. They are suffering and this is their way of showing us that.

Therapy helps and supports a child or a Young Person to explore and talk about what is happening for them in their world, whether at home, school, etc.

By them talking and expressing their emotions by being encouraged to overcome their fears, and being prompted to believe more in themselves and more able to achieve their goals and dreams, this would lead to living a more balanced life with positive Mental Health and Well-Being. Working therapeutically with children and young people requires a specialized set of skills, knowledge, and approaches.

We also offer family therapy with children / young people and parents or care givers. Sometimes a child comes to this world with a certain energy and it can be a challenge for parents to understand the child/ young person and vice-versa. This is to do with energy frequencies of consciousness, in terms of our evolution as beings.  Clashes can happen between parents / care givers and the child or young person. This may have to do with how different the child's perception of the world is from the parents beliefs and perceptions. We offer mediation, since we understand those new energetic frequencies of consciousness, thus can feel challenging, difficult and frustrated at times, for both parts.

Therapy for Children and Young People in Bereavement/Grief/Loss :

Losing a loved one, someone very dear to us, is heartbreaking for anyone. But for a child/Young person, the feelings can be incredibly difficult to manage. Children/Young people in general experience and express their grief differently to adults. Since they have less experience in dealing with such crises and maybe it really was the very first time they were faced with such a hurtful and painful situation, it can really be overwhelming for them. Counselling can facilitate and help them to gain some coping skills for them to best manage their emotions and life without the loved one they just lost. Additionally, having a safe space where they can feel free to ask anything and to express and explore their emotions, can help them come to terms with how to best deal with a major loss in their lives.

Furthermore, therapy can provide a space for the child and young person to talk openly and honestly and to answer all the questions they might have. To explain death to them by using real words. Explaining the circle of life and reassuring them about their own emotions, that it is OK to be angry, sad, hurt and scared. All feelings have a purpose.

Therapy for Traumas – PTSD (post-traumatic-stress-disorder) – Stress :

We know that stress has a damaging effect on the immune system, and on the nervous system. Stress arises in the emotions and the mental life (grief, insecurities, anxieties, worries, fears, etc) having an impact and a knock-on effect on the chemistry of our body.

Additionally, stress is a reaction that our bodies experience when dealing with pressure.

Everyone experiences tension, pressure and stress at stages in life. However, a prolonged and continuous life of stress  becomes damaging to our physical, mental and psychological well-being.

The impact of Stress and the levels of stress can vary, this can lead to illness. When an individual experiences higher levels of stress, they can develop further illnesses, such as PTSD – Post-traumatic Disorder, an anxiety disorder that develops after traumatic experience(s), the individual may experience flash backs, panic attacks, and heightened awareness. PTSD is commonly developed in ex-soldiers, individuals who have suffered abused, traumatic accidents, giving birth, losing a child, losing a parent / care giver suddenly, etc.

The person can adopt unhealthy coping mechanisms, such as drinking, using drugs, gambling and so on. This can also be the cause of individuals developing mental health problems, such as anxiety, depression and other mental health issues. Someone who is suffering from severe stress/anxiety /PTSD has their daily life tremendously impacted in a negative manner.

Equally, Meditation, Relaxation and Mindfulness have a measurable effect on stress reduction, and therefore in one’s Well-Being, within our body too.

Change is easiest to adapt to if it happens slowly, at a Human Soul’s pace – A step-by-step sort of approach. We all have our histories marked in our bodies (scars, wrinkles, weight, etc).

When one has significant trauma they are unable to express and process, it is then stored in one’s body, and life force is blocked in some way and therefore not flowing and some part of the individual still lives in the past.

Once Trauma is expressed, understood, processed and released, life force can flow again, and one is then able to live more presently and fully, instead of being stuck in past traumas.

Therapeutic Methods:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT): Designed to address the unique needs of an individual with PTSD. It focuses on changing negative thought patterns and behaviours related to the trauma.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): It involves the use of bilateral stimulation (typically through eye movements) while the individual recalls traumatic memories. This helps them process the memories and reduce their emotional intensity.

Mindfulness-Based Therapies: Mindfulness-Based; Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive therapy (MBCT), can help individuals become more aware of their thoughts and feelings, reducing the impact of trauma on their daily lives.

Psychodynamic Therapy: This form of therapy explores how past experiences and unconscious thoughts may be influencing current behaviour. It can help individuals gain insight into the roots of their PTSD symptoms.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT): Combines cognitive-behavioural techniques with mindfulness strategies. It focuses on helping individuals regulate their emotions, improve interpersonal effectiveness, and tolerate distress.

Transactional Analyses (TA): TA is grounded in the idea that human behaviour is largely a result of social interactions between individuals and that these transactions can be analysed to understand and improve interpersonal communication and relationships. This can happen due to childhood situations as well as situations along one’s life, that were very stressful and fearful in some ways and the individual didn’t really process or overcome those fears. The individual then instead of living in the present moment, still lives with those fears and a permanent alertness, since they have triggers due to associations that are still unconscious or subconscious and repressed by the individual with similar situations, places and people and therefore the individual might not even be aware of it. When these feelings are intense and prominent in one’s life and last a long time, the individual feels overwhelmed. Thus, preventing the Individual from living a normal day-to-day life

A continuation of a state of anxiety can lead to exhaustion and physical illness, as well as deep sadness which in turn can lead to depression. Nearly everyone has been through times when they feel low but those emotions become long lasting and start to interfere with everyday life, it is crucial people seek support and help.

Maybe you are having thoughts such as, wondering if life is worth it living; You are no longer enjoying living; the things that you used to enjoy and give you joy you no longer feel that way about; You often think that friends and family would be better without your presence. You might also often feel that you are alone and not understood. That you are inside of this big, black cloud and you don’t seem to get out of it no matter what.

We can all feel low at times in our lives, depression is developed and stays within the individual when the individual is stuck and ruminates those sorts of thoughts and feels a deep sense of sadness, anxiety, hopeless, helplessness, guilty, ashamed, demotivated, etc the majority of the time. Therapy for Self-Esteem :

Are you ready to shift your perspective about yourself to a more positive one? Confidence, self-loving and self-acceptance, as well as, embracing all your resources and bringing the best within you, exploring your full potential and gain courage to explore aspects of yourself that you haven’t just yet explored and/or expanded because of various reasons.

Self-esteem has a lot to do with how one perceives themselves, those perceptions are linked to one’s self development, in a sense, how people treated us in childhood and related to us, and throughout life,  how people have related to us and  told us as feedback how they experience us and how we relate to ourselves, others and the world. To remember your true nature, your virtues, values is a search within. Once we become clearer on who ‘we are’, it is easier to navigate life and to became assertive with ourselves, others and the world.

Sometimes our surroundings are not that lovely and that would knock one’s confidence and perceptions of one's self and then one needs to work towards gaining a more realistic, loving perspective and consider transforming that perception and especially the way the individual relates to themselves.

When one is confident they are able to discern what one is good at and what needs to evolve and be improved. Confidence is important because it enables you to be yourself with yourself and others and peel layer by layer and go deeper within yourself every time; that will be reflected into the world. When you have low self-esteem, it is hard to believe in yourself, the individual has a negative perception and is self-critical and experiences negative emotions within themselves.

Low self-esteem and low self-worth evokes certain emotions such as inadequacy, unsatisfaction, shame, feeling shy, unlovable, unworthy, unacceptable, incompetent, fearful, insecure. These emotions can affect the individual's behaviour and life choices and decisions, leading to negative experiences in life, such as troubled relationships, self-harm, etc.

Psychotherapy and Counselling can be effective in addressing and improving self-esteem, since it plays a crucial role in the mental well-being of the individual, influencing thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

Mindfulness-Based-Approach: Mindfulness-Based- Stress-Reduction (MSR) or Mindfulness-Based-Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), can help individuals become more aware of their thoughts and feelings without judgement. Mindfulness can foster self-compassion and acceptance, which are essential components of a healthy self-esteem.

Narrative Therapy: Focuses on the stories the individual embraces as the ‘True’ story of their lives. The therapist helps clients to reframe, reconstruct and gain a different perspective of that narrative. The individual can then feel more empowered and motivated to keep developing a positive self-image.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT): A goal orientated sort of approach, it focuses on solutions rather than dwelling on problems. It helps individuals identify their strengths and resources leading to a more positive view of themselves and their abilities.

Relationships Therapy/Counselling :

Relationships in our present times can be a challenge because of so many reasons, there is a massive influence from media and images and a fundamental shift in generational beliefs and views. The world is expanding very fast and almost all of a sudden, people were attached to certain static roles in the relationships, which are becoming much more dynamic. For some individuals this can feel quite unsafe and confusing within certain family dynamics, as well as in romantic couples’ dynamics. New ideas, and dynamics in relationships are becoming more prominent.

Relationships are a main theme of our lives, bringing us all a meaningful part of our lives and can bring us great comfort, support, fulfilment, care, love and happiness (friendships, family, romantic relationships, neighbourhood, communities, society, etc.). Sustaining healthy relationships takes work and awareness of oneself above all. Relationship issues can vary, and the circumstances which lead to problems can be related to an individual’s history, background, personality and especially the sort of relationship the individual has developed with themselves.

when one is not that aware of themselves and the sort of impact has on others, it can easily project some aspects of themselves into others and confusion, misunderstandings and lack of responsibility can happen.

On some degree we all have blind spots. The aim is to go deeper within one's self and keep discovering 'who Am I?' In this manner the individual can develop a truly authentic relationship with themselves, and subsequently with others too. Meaning that one is then open to influence others and be influenced by others with openness, honesty, vulnerability, tenderness and from a loving place. One is more likely to welcome challenges in life rather than avoid them and/or repel them due fears.

When one gets to a place which fosters a sacred/temple relationship with themselves, without effort, without the micro-management/control, this is when things start to unravel from a place of Love, Wisdom and Authenticity, with the flow and true connection can be formed, established and flourished – Grow. Focusing on the heart Love instead of the Fear(s).

This process can be quite challenging at times, since one may have to distance themselves and change some fundamental beliefs of themselves, others and the world. It requires certain losses of unhealthier attachments that individuals have developed and distancing and/or gently cutting the ties might be needed. Additionally, old and certain traumas might also play a part and can trigger the individual in certain situations.

Willingness to feel whatever emotion(s) may surface, being open and welcome challenging situations that gives us the opportunity to dive deeper within one's self, which can at times be tremendously painful and uncomfortable, can help and support us to transmute traumas, relational traumas, into authentic connections and healthier relationships, since relationships are a main theme in anyone’s life. Again, one can transmute and transform conflicts within one's self instead of projecting into others.

By improving one’s energetic frequency, one develops higher levels of consciousness and can connect with their divine feminine and divine masculine, being the best version of themselves.

Therapy focuses on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening emotional bonds within a relationship. Facilitating communication problems towards healthier communication patterns, expressing needs, and listening to each other. Additionally, therapy can teach effective ways to resolve conflicts and manage disagreements.

This helps individuals understand their patterns of communication, behaviour, and relationships; it encourages personal growth and change; addressing interpersonal dynamics and emotional issues. Fostering conscious, positive and fulfilling interactions.

Acceptance Compassion Therapy (ACT)

Art Therapy

Therapy for Domestic Abuse / Abuse ;

There are many experiences and challenges in the Human experience that make it painful and difficult for our heart and soul to stay open, without being afraid, especially when one has endured abuse for long periods of time, especially in childhood.

We have all been wounded to some degree. Forgiveness is a main factor in the healing process, and not an easy one because it requires immense self-love and above all you want to forgive yourself and others, to free yourself from that heavy pain and suffering.  In general, people who have been in very unhealthy and abusive relationships, can unconsciously repeat the same patterns and as passive revenge, resentment and anger will to inflict wounds on others. This can instigate within the person the perception of a very grim, scary and dangerous world they live in. A place where fear and anxiety are prevalent.

Acknowledging, the painful emotions, situations, conflicts, wound and fears that are causing one's pain and anxiety are the main work in the therapy.

When people are hurt it’s human to close off one’s heart to the world. How can you soften towards those who have hurt you?

The invitation in therapy is to listen to your history, if you wish to recall painful memories, to join the dots in your life patterns and for you to go deeper and expand, to start embracing the unique light and change, transmute those painful emotions towards Love for yourself and others and be liberated from that fear prison.

You already know the deepest darkness of Humanity because you have been through it, now you need to get in touch with your light and embrace it and spread that Love and Light around you. You will be not only surviving the trauma but living with the best version of yourself and Thriving in Life.

Our Heart is a portal, it is the very first organ to develop. The bridge between Heaven and Earth. As a therapist I work here very much with your inner wisdom, Intuition and systemic family/friends/culture as well as Imaginary guidance, art. Hypnotherapy can also be very effective.

This approach guides you through body exercises, as well as breathing work towards releasing stuck emotions that are unhelpful to the well-being of the individual. In general individuals’ body store emotions and memories that are still latent and unconscious from individual’s awareness. Although painful memories can come to the surface and into individuals’ awareness, becoming aware of repressed traumas and memories can enable working with those emotions and awareness.

Family therapy gives each member an opportunity, time and space to voice their emotions, thoughts and concerns. Also, aids in identifying and addressing these dynamics, improve communication within the family, and develop strategies for handling conflicts more effectively. Spiritual Therapy – Transpersonal Self :

Spiritual psychotherapy is an approach to counselling and therapy that integrates principles and practices from psychology, philosophy, art and spirituality. It recognizes the interconnectedness of the mind, body and spirit, towards well-being and an individual’s development and growth.

Spiritual therapy / Transpersonal Psychology, means taking a holistic approach, the intention is to support and facilitate an individual’s development and growth. The focus is on improvement in all aspects of the individual’s life. To encourage the person to look into their Physical, Mental-Intellectual, Emotional, Social, Creative and Spiritual aspects, in order to promote healing and growth. The therapist helps the individual to explore human experience and the human psyche from the perspective of a Spiritual Centre of Self within.

Spirituality is a path that involves discovering and exploring a deeper sense of meaning and purpose in one’s life and Human evolution, it can lead to a sense of belonging, connection to the Universe. Finding your inner peace, your centre, your true/Higher Self.

We all have a chief motivating and co-ordinating energy within us, and it is crucial to discover the presence of this centre, in ways that are meaningful to us and others at whatever stage in the journey of consciousness the individual finds themselves to be.

When one is centred, aligned with their true-self – Higher-Self, the energies of this Higher-Self are available and one can channel and connect through them. The work here is to facilitate the individual to establish their personal will, support and help to keep developing certain virtues, qualities, strengths, or attitudes that represent a – Next Step – in terms of the person’s growth by recognising and valuing the uniqueness of the individual.

At times, one may reach a point in life where there is a breakdown on some levels. However, that can become a “breakthrough” or “Threshold” to their reality, and the individual has the opportunity to be open to new realities and further development in consciousness. Different ‘Music’ might start to resonate and be more in alignment to the individual's new perception and consciousness. Therapy facilitates the individual to adjust to these new realities and take into account their own unique needs and circumstances.

Perhaps, you have had a spiritual awakening, some sort of experience that gave you a different perspective of yourself and the world; a Spiritual Transformative experience. One knows and understands that nothing will be like before, a powerful after effect as in a personal transmutation which goes beyond the experience of the subject such as Kundalini Full spectrum awakening, Near Death Experiences, Mystical experiences, Numinous experiences, etc.

“Human existence is not authentic unless it is lived in terms of self-transcendence, the will to meaning” (V.F).

Being able to tell our story with all the time in the world and all the time we need is a deep healing process. When someone really sees us and listens to us with full focus and attention, we can see ourselves, listen to ourselves, perhaps for the very first authentical time. One’s life can then embrace a new chapter.

Psychotherapy, is a method which helps an individual to come to a more complete understanding of life and the circumstances that one finds themselves in at a given moment, and also the ones that one arrived through choice. It is an exploration of who one has become and will become as result of choices made. It supports the uncovering of meaning and helps make sense of one's life.

Additionally, the process of Integration and Syntheses, is one which the therapist facilitates and supports the individual to become aware of their conflicts and disharmonious elements/aspects of the personality, that is undergoing a process of harmonization, integration and synthesis of experiences within themselves and connection with their Higher Selves. As well as, the integration of an individual's relationships with others, communities, groups and the environment.

This work takes place in several stages: Recognition of the elements requiring transmutation; Acceptance of these elements; Coordination of these elements by the “I”, and Integration and Syntheses of these elements, towards wholeness and further reaches the individual's potential abilities, skills and capabilities.

The Sacred Crystal Heart, it is critical to explore and understand the workings of 'our Pure Heart' , which holds feelings and language that communicates directly with the Source - Highest Consciousness gives us the gift of experiencing Unconditional Love and Peace. The most crucial aspect of awakening is to learn how to open the Crystal Heart and to get comfortable and manage a widening range of emotional spectrums by resolving emotional conflicts. The Heart virtues/qualities gives us the opportunity to embrace and work Spiritual powers such as Compassion, Empathy, Forgiveness and Generosity towards others.

By finding the True Love that exists from within the self, the Crystal Heart Complex is activated from within the Light of the body which further attracts and embodies the highest qualities of Soul - Spiritual Intelligence.

The potential remains dormant until the individual makes a choice to evolve towards being more awake and more loving, seeking a meaningful relationship with All-That-it-is.

The level of the guide’s personal integration is a crucial element, which determines the amount of clarity and Love which is able to bring to the traveller and truth seeker on the path; this where the true Healing Power lies.

Hypnotherapy / Transpersonal Hypnotherapy: Past Life Regression Therapy – Future Life Therapy under Hypnosis :

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach that utilizes hypnosis to induce a state of deep relaxation, focused attention and heightened suggestibility. In this altered state of consciousness, often referred to as a trance, individuals may be more open to suggestion and guided imagery. This approach facilitates the release of buried fears and traumas, these feelings and experiences can be re-integrated into the psyche in a creative and positive way.

It is particular effective in resolving anxieties, lack of confidence and self-esteem, physical symptoms, performance nerves, phobias, fears, stopping and changing unhealthy habits/behaviours towards healthier one; changes of perceptions.

Approach Methods:

Induction: The process begins with an induction, during which the hypnotherapist helps the individual enter a state of deep relaxation and concentration.

Suggestion: Once in the Hypnotic state, the therapist may provide suggestions related to the individual’s goals or desired changes. These suggestions are intended to influence thoughts, feelings, or behaviours.

Purpose: Hypnotherapy is used for a variety of purposes, including pain management, stress reduction, habit modification (such as smoking cessation or weight loss), overcoming phobias, improving sleep, and addressing certain psychological issues.

Subconscious Influence: The underlying principle of hypnotherapy is that the hypnotic state allows access to the subconscious mind, where beliefs and habits are deeply ingrained. By addressing the subconscious, hypnotherapy aims to create positive changes in thoughts and behaviours.

Collaborative Process: Successful hypnotherapy is often a collaborative process between the therapist and the individual. The individual must be willing to participate and be open to the therapeutic suggestions.

Transpersonal Hypnotherapy:

This method emphasises the exploration and intention(s) of releasing stuck patterns and moving toward a sense of greater integration, inner wisdom, Love and wholeness. When one chooses to work consciously with this awareness, perspective, skills and resources one has acquired in one’s inner and outer journey(s), this significantly amplifies one's experience and effect.

Our own experience of the Self – one’s personal archetypal, is precisely the Soul, that aspect of the Divine with which one is entrusted and can best develop with this method.

Temporal Access – With expanded states of awareness, we are able to perceive time as fractal and cyclical. This view point allows a more Omniscient interaction with timelines and parallel dimensions as the base of a conscious creator Avatar on Earth.

Therefore, new views and new perspectives emerge and give the individual a broader sense of one's self, the world and all the intricacies and links and a multiverse knowing.

Each threshold is a new opportunity to see what has become obsolete in one’s perception of time and what is a new instrument to create reality. Using imaging, creative visualisations, reflection, meditation, subtle body work, storytelling and discussion after sessions.

Each stage can be seen as a mutation, transformation of consciousness, in which each structure of consciousness can be seen as a new adaptation to new information and to the evolving perception and experiential expression of one’s specific relationship to space and time.

Trance-Like States: Are a natural phenomenon, we all experience at certain moments such as, watching a burning fire, flowing water, one gets into the rhythm stimuli. These states enable individuals to be guided by their own intuition, wisdom and healing intention and growth towards wholeness, wider perspectives. Within that, changes will happen sooner rather than later and becomes discernible to one’s awakening consciousness.
