Member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I have international liability Insurance and an enhanced DBS check to work with vulnerable adults and children. I work within BACP Ethical Framework for good practice, that is, I abide by their code of Ethics and Values and adhere to the hours of continual professional development and Supervision, required for professional accreditation.
Research is a great way of contributing towards development and evolution of communities, society and the world. I have academic and clinical research experience in ADHD; Mindfulness – Well-Being; Eating Disorders; Kundalini yoga practice towards higher levels of consciousness and Emotional Intelligence; Intelligence.
As a Therapist, I have done research also in Addictions, Grief/Bereavement; Life-Span development; Children's/YP perceptions of themselves and their well-being. Currently, my research is linked with Transpersonal Psychology, Spirituality and Approaches to consciousness; Co-creativity-towards one's Higher True self - Archetypal Consciousness.
My work is grounded in Humanistic, Existential, Transformational/Transpersonal Psychology. Psychosynthesis, Holistic, Mindfulness practice, Breathing work, Yoga Somatic practices, Spirituality, etc. - an Integrative approach. Meaning, I am trained in many different theories / Models / Techniques/ Methods/ approaches and I adapt my therapy to meet your unique needs and circumstances. I will assist you so you can better understand your problems / difficulties / issues, and I will encourage you to explore and clarify your thoughts, feelings, patterns in your life and behaviours that lead onto your life experiences.
I will facilitate and mediate this process for you, so we can together unravel, understand, overcome and make effective long-lasting changes. Thus, enabling you to live a life that is more satisfying and fulfilling.
I love what I do and I am passionate about facilitating individuals in dealing and overcoming traumas and challenges in life, towards self-development, growth and encourage individuals towards a balanced Well-Being life and connecting with their True self. Additionally, connecting to their Higher selves and Higher levels of Consciousness, one's Soul Essence.
Therapy aims to facilitate and support you to resolve some of your conflicts, to encourage you to make certain choices that enable you to live more authentically by exploring lived experiences, making sense of paradoxes, conflicts and dilemmas you may be facing.
My therapeutic style can be laid back but in depth if you wish so. Or more accelerated, it all depends on the energy the client brings. I have been described as supportive, caring, passionate and compassionate, with a good sense of humour. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles.
I’m here to support you and so we can together come up with the best solution for you, through the things that you are facing and are difficult right now, by offering you a space that you can be open and honest without fear of judgement.
We all have phases in life when things don’t feel smooth at all and it becomes so very painful and frustrating and we can really do with some real help and support from a professional therapist.
I offer Counselling Therapy, short-term and long-term for children, young people, adults, families and groups. Therapy can be very effective and rewarding, especially when facilitated by a specialised therapist. Thus, can lead in having a positive impact on yourself and therefore on your life in general, empowering you to have a much healthier, happier and fulfilling life than before.
I’ve always been intrigued and curious about lives’ mysteries and Human beings, thus I have spent most of my life studying / practicing, researching and observing Human beings’ ways of relating and behaving on Earth. By going through many experiences and challenges myself, I have increased my professional wisdom on how to best facilitate, mediate, support and help my fellow beings towards changes, development, growth and healing.
Again, having been consistently drawn by the transformational powers of Love, well-being, healing and Consciousness as a way of perceiving the world. I also offer transformational /Transpersonal and Integrative Psychotherapy, to promote healing and growth. At times life make sure to bend us and challenges us and you perhaps can do with a good guidance to navigate through it. And to facilitate on how you can start co-create your own life. As you begin to remember your true nature, since your perception of reality is a reflection of you.
I truly believe that we all have an inherent capacity of personal growth, even when we encounter difficult challenges in life and almost unbearable losses. Although the choice of having courage and facing such challenges can also bring different purposes in life and perspectives, meaning and wisdom.
Being able to tell our story with all the time in the world and with all the time we need is a deep healing process. When someone really sees us and listens to us , perhaps for the very first time in our lives, with full focus and attention; One can at the same time see oneself, listen to oneself, perhaps for the very first time authentically. One’s life can then embrace a new chapter.
When one shares, feels less lonely.
An important goal of therapy is to make the unconscious – Conscious, to extend the frontiers of our consciousness into areas that were formerly unconscious. Another time/space that hasn’t been quite resolved and therefore you may want to address to become aware, and therefore you can live more present and joyful in your present life.
